The mission of RSR is to help you get better.
Our framework of activities is designed to assist you, before and after your surgery.
However, we are not involved in your diagnosis, prognosis, monitoring, or procedure and are not liable for the results.
Our services do not contain or constitute, and should not be interpreted as, medical advice or opinion.
RSR is not a medical professional or a healthcare provider.
The information made available on or through our services should not be relied on when making medical decisions or to treat a medical or health condition.
If any of the information communicated by rsr contradicts information provided by your physician, you should take the advice of your physician.
If at any point you are experiencing abnormal, unusual or unexpected physical conditions, immediately call 911 in areas where that service is available, and/or go to the nearest emergency room.
Collection of Personal Information
This Policy applies to personal information collected by us in connection with the Services.
“Personal Information” includes any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
For example, Personal Information may include, without limitation, name, email address, demographic information, medical information, sex, health insurance information, financial information, and Geolocation Data (as defined below).

What information do you collect and why?
We collect Personal Information from you when you voluntarily provide such information, such as when you sign up for the Services, contact us with inquiries, enter information regarding appointments, create a story, create a game plan, or use certain features of the Services.
We may use this information to create your account and provide you with the Services.
In addition to demographic information, we may ask you to provide certain contact information, such as your phone number, your hospital information, your surgeon's information, your pharmacy, and information that you report about your health conditions, movement, pain, and progress.
We collect this information to provide you more customized Services and to facilitate your preparation for surgery and/or recovery.
Based on your interaction with the Services, the type of device you use to access the Services, and your device's connectivity, we may collect geolocation data (e.g., IP address, physical location) (“Geolocation Data”) from you and your device.
Geolocation Data is collected and stored to track log-in data, to assist with account security, to monitor for suspicious behavior, and to enhance your user experience and to better understand your interaction with our Services.
We may collect certain information automatically through our Services or other methods of web analysis such as cookie identifiers, mobile carrier, operating system, Internet service provider, pages that you visit before and after using the Services, the date and time of your visit, the amount of time you spend on each page, information about the links you click and the pages you view, and other actions taken through the Services.
How do you use my personal information?
When you access the Services, you explicitly agree to this Policy and consent to our use of your Personal Information that is provided to us.

RSR and its affiliates and agents are permitted, but not obligated, to review and/or retain information and/or communications stored and/or transmitted using the Services by us and you (“User Content”).
We may monitor User Content for data collection purposes and/or to evaluate the quality of service you receive, your compliance with our Terms of Use, which are accessible at readysetrecover.com/legal/terms (the “Terms”), the security of the Services, or for other reasons.
If you invite surgery supporters or other users to join in connection with your use of the Services, then they may also view your User Content to monitor your progress and overall condition and to interact with you, as they deem appropriate.
In no event will RSR be liable for any costs, damages, expenses, or any other liabilities incurred by you as a result of any such monitoring activities by RSR or the individuals whom you invite to join in connection with your use of the Services.
Where is my information stored?
Information we collect through the Services may be stored in the cloud, on our servers, on the servers of our affiliates, and/or on the servers of our service providers.
By providing information to us, you explicitly consent to the storage of your Personal Information in these locations.
Will you share my information with anyone else?
RSR takes its responsibility to keep your information private very seriously.
However, we may access or disclose information about you or your account under the following circumstances:
With Other Users:
If you invite surgery supporters or other users to join in connection with your use of the Services, then they may also view your User Content to monitor your progress and overall condition and to interact with you, as they deem appropriate.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other users who view and use your submitted information.
With Third Party Payment Processors:
When you make payments through the Services, we may process your payments through a third-party application or third-party payment processor (each, a “Payment Processor”), such as Stripe.
In these instances, the Payment Processor may collect certain financial information from you to process a payment on our behalf, including your name, email address, mailing address, and other billing information, in which case the use and storage of such information is governed by the Payment Processor's terms, conditions, and privacy policies.
With Operations and Maintenance Contractors:
RSR may share your Personal Information with third-party contractors as is necessary to respond to your requests for Services and information, unless you have opted-out of receiving information.
Third-party contractors may access your Personal Information to send you this information on behalf of RSR.
RSR may also hire third-party technology providers to host, develop, maintain, or upgrade the Services, and/or to store your Personal Information.
In the Event of a Business Transfer:
We might sell or buy businesses or assets. In the event of a corporate sale, merger, reorganization, financing, dissolution or similar event, Personal Information may be sold or transferred as part of such a transaction permitted by law and/or contract.

RSR may disclose Personal Information when required by law or legal process; when necessary to protect and defend the rights or property of RSR or when necessary to protect the personal safety of RSR Users.
With Other Third-Party Service Providers:
We will share your Personal Information such as, name, address, unique personal and online identifiers, email address, or other similar identifiers with other third-party service providers, such as error tracking software and product analytics software.
Sharing this information with third-party service providers is designed to improve your experience while using the Services and to provide analytics and related services.
Aggregate Information:
Aggregate information does not contain any Personal Information about our Users.
From time to time, RSR may share aggregate, non-personal information about Service usage with third parties, including government agencies, advertisers, and our collaborators.
How long will you store my information?
We store your Personal Information for as long as you maintain an account and up to one year after the account is closed.
At the end of this one-year period, we may remove your Personal Information from our databases.
However, once we disclose your Personal Information to third parties, we may not be able to access that Personal Information any longer and cannot force the deletion or modification of any such information by the parties to whom we have made those disclosures.

We may retain anonymized or aggregated data indefinitely.
If your account is terminated for any reason, either by you or RSR, we may permanently delete your data from our servers in accordance with applicable law and regulations.
RSR is under no obligation to return data to you after your account is canceled.
Data that is deleted may be irretrievable.
What is your cookie and other technology policy?
In operating the Services, we may use cookies, web beacons, pixels, local storage, software development kits (“SDKs”), and similar technologies.
A cookie is a small data file store on your browser or device.
Cookies may be served by the entity that operates the website you are visiting or by other companies.
For example, we may work with third-party analytics providers, like Google, which may set cookies when you visit our website.

Children's online privacy
We do not knowingly collect or maintain personal information from children under the age of eighteen (18) and Services are not directed to individuals under the age of eighteen (18).
If you are under the age of eighteen (18), you should not furnish us with any identifiable information about yourself without a parent's consent.
If we learn that personally identifiable information of persons under eighteen (18) years of age has been collected without parental consent, we will take the appropriate steps to delete this information.
Communications with RSR
We may use the email addresses you provided when you created your user account to occasionally deliver information relevant to you, benefits, promotions, surveys, and notification of other relevant items.
If you send us an email with questions or comments, we may use the Personal Information you provide to respond to your questions or comments, and we may save your questions or comments for future reference.
However, we will provide you with the option to change your preferences and opt-out of receiving those communications.
You may request at any time that we not email you in the future by clicking the “unsubscribe” link which is included at the bottom of any email communication that you receive from us, or by contacting us at [email protected].
When contacting us by email, please insert “UNSUBSCRIBE” in the subject line and the body of the message.
If you unsubscribe, you should assume that your request has been received and is being processed.
Please allow ten (10) business days from when the request was received to complete the removal of your email address from our database as some of our promotions may have been in process before submitting such request.
We will make reasonable efforts to discontinue these email communications as soon as practicable.
How do you protect my personal information?
RSR has taken reasonable security measures to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of information under our control.
We use a combination of reasonable physical, technical, and administrative security controls to maintain the security and integrity of your Personal Information, to protect against any anticipated threats or hazards to the security or integrity of such information, and to protect against unauthorized access to or use of such information in our possession or control that could result in substantial harm or inconvenience to you.

How can I protect my personal information?
We will never send you an email requesting confidential information such as account numbers, usernames, passwords, or social security numbers, and you should never respond to any email requesting such information.
If you receive such an email purportedly from RSR,
do not respond to the email, do not click on any links and/or open any attachments in the email, and notify RSR support at

You are responsible for taking reasonable precautions to protect your user information (username, password, etc.) from disclosure to third parties, and you are not permitted to circumvent the use of required encryption technologies.
You should immediately notify us at [email protected] if you know of or suspect any unauthorized use or disclosure of your user information, or any other security concern.
By logging into your account, you can access much of your Personal Information. Using your account settings, you can change and delete much of your Personal Information.
For instance, you can edit or delete User Content that you have posted.
Non-US-Users
By using the Services, you consent to our transfer of your Personal Information to the United States.
If you are an EU data subject, you may have the following rights under certain circumstances:
